"Senator, I am not now, nor have I ever been, an oil trader. and neither has anyone on my behalf. I have never seen a barrel of oil, owned one, bought one, sold one - and neither has anyone on my behalf.
"Now I know that standards have slipped in the last few years in Washington, but for a lawyer you are remarkably cavalier with any idea of justice. I am here today but last week you already found me guilty. You traduced my name around the world without ever having asked me a single question, without ever having contacted me, without ever written to me or telephoned me, without any attempt to contact me whatsoever. And you call that justice.
"Now I want to deal with the pages that relate to me in this dossier and I want to point out areas where there are - let's be charitable and say errors. Then I want to put this in the context where I believe it ought to be. On the very first page of your document about me you assert that I have had 'many meetings' with Saddam Hussein. This is false.
"I have had two meetings with Saddam Hussein, once in 1994 and once in August of 2002. By no stretch of the English language can that be described as "many meetings" with Saddam Hussein.
"As a matter of fact, I have met Saddam Hussein exactly the same number of times as Donald Rumsfeld met him. The difference is Donald Rumsfeld met him to sell him guns and to give him maps the better to target those guns. I met him to try and bring about an end to sanctions, suffering and war, and on the second of the two occasions, I met him to try and persuade him to let Dr Hans Blix and the United Nations weapons inspectors back into the country - a rather better use of two meetings with Saddam Hussein than your own Secretary of State for Defence made of his.
"I was an opponent of Saddam Hussein when British and Americans governments and businessmen were selling him guns and gas. I used to demonstrate outside the Iraqi embassy when British and American officials were going in and doing commerce.
"You will see from the official parliamentary record, Hansard, from the 15th March 1990 onwards, voluminous evidence that I have a rather better record of opposition to Saddam Hussein than you do and than any other member of the British or American governments do.
"Now you say in this document, you quote a source, you have the gall to quote a source, without ever having asked me whether the allegation from the source is true, that I am 'the owner of a company which has made substantial profits from trading in Iraqi oil'.
"Senator, I do not own any companies, beyond a small company whose entire purpose, whose sole purpose, is to receive the income from my journalistic earnings from my employer, Associated Newspapers, in London. I do not own a company that's been trading in Iraqi oil. And you have no business to carry a quotation, utterly unsubstantiated and false, implying otherwise.
"Now you have nothing on me, Senator, except my name on lists of names from Iraq, many of which have been drawn up after the installation of your puppet government in Baghdad. If you had any of the letters against me that you had against Zhirinovsky, and even Pasqua, they would have been up there in your slideshow for the members of your committee today.
"You have my name on lists provided to you by the Duelfer inquiry, provided to him by the convicted bank robber, and fraudster and conman Ahmed Chalabi who many people to their credit in your country now realise played a decisive role in leading your country into the disaster in Iraq.
"There were 270 names on that list originally. That's somehow been filleted down to the names you chose to deal with in this committee. Some of the names on that committee included the former secretary to his Holiness Pope John Paul II, the former head of the African National Congress Presidential office and many others who had one defining characteristic in common: they all stood against the policy of sanctions and war which you vociferously prosecuted and which has led us to this disaster.
"You quote Mr Dahar Yassein Ramadan. Well, you have something on me, I've never met Mr Dahar Yassein Ramadan. Your sub-committee apparently has. But I do know that he's your prisoner, I believe he's in Abu Ghraib prison. I believe he is facing war crimes charges, punishable by death. In these circumstances, knowing what the world knows about how you treat prisoners in Abu Ghraib prison, in Bagram Airbase, in Guantanamo Bay, including I may say, British citizens being held in those places.
"I'm not sure how much credibility anyone would put on anything you manage to get from a prisoner in those circumstances. But you quote 13 words from Dahar Yassein Ramadan whom I have never met. If he said what he said, then he is wrong.
"And if you had any evidence that I had ever engaged in any actual oil transaction, if you had any evidence that anybody ever gave me any money, it would be before the public and before this committee today because I agreed with your Mr Greenblatt [Mark Greenblatt, legal counsel on the committee].
"Your Mr Greenblatt was absolutely correct. What counts is not the names on the paper, what counts is where's the money. Senator? Who paid me hundreds of thousands of dollars of money? The answer to that is nobody. And if you had anybody who ever paid me a penny, you would have produced them today.
"Now you refer at length to a company names in these documents as Aredio Petroleum. I say to you under oath here today: I have never heard of this company, I have never met anyone from this company. This company has never paid a penny to me and I'll tell you something else: I can assure you that Aredio Petroleum has never paid a single penny to the Mariam Appeal Campaign. Not a thin dime. I don't know who Aredio Petroleum are, but I daresay if you were to ask them they would confirm that they have never met me or ever paid me a penny.
"Whilst I'm on that subject, who is this senior former regime official that you spoke to yesterday? Don't you think I have a right to know? Don't you think the Committee and the public have a right to know who this senior former regime official you were quoting against me interviewed yesterday actually is?
"Now, one of the most serious of the mistakes you have made in this set of documents is, to be frank, such a schoolboy howler as to make a fool of the efforts that you have made. You assert on page 19, not once but twice, that the documents that you are referring to cover a different period in time from the documents covered by The Daily Telegraph which were a subject of a libel action won by me in the High Court in England late last year.
"You state that The Daily Telegraph article cited documents from 1992 and 1993 whilst you are dealing with documents dating from 2001. Senator, The Daily Telegraph's documents date identically to the documents that you were dealing with in your report here. None of The Daily Telegraph's documents dealt with a period of 1992, 1993. I had never set foot in Iraq until late in 1993 - never in my life. There could possibly be no documents relating to Oil-for-Food matters in 1992, 1993, for the Oil-for-Food scheme did not exist at that time.
"And yet you've allocated a full section of this document to claiming that your documents are from a different era to the Daily Telegraph documents when the opposite is true. Your documents and the Daily Telegraph documents deal with exactly the same period.
"But perhaps you were confusing the Daily Telegraph action with the Christian Science Monitor. The Christian Science Monitor did indeed publish on its front pages a set of allegations against me very similar to the ones that your committee have made. They did indeed rely on documents which started in 1992, 1993. These documents were unmasked by the Christian Science Monitor themselves as forgeries.
"Now, the neo-con websites and newspapers in which you're such a hero, senator, were all absolutely cock-a-hoop at the publication of the Christian Science Monitor documents, they were all absolutely convinced of their authenticity. They were all absolutely convinced that these documents showed me receiving $10 million from the Saddam regime. And they were all lies.
"In the same week as the Daily Telegraph published their documents against me, the Christian Science Monitor published theirs which turned out to be forgeries and the British newspaper, Mail on Sunday, purchased a third set of documents which also upon forensic examination turned out to be forgeries. So there's nothing fanciful about this. Nothing at all fanciful about it.
"The existence of forged documents implicating me in commercial activities with the Iraqi regime is a proven fact. It's a proven fact that these forged documents existed and were being circulated amongst right-wing newspapers in Baghdad and around the world in the immediate aftermath of the fall of the Iraqi regime.
"Now, Senator, I gave my heart and soul to oppose the policy that you promoted. I gave my political life's blood to try to stop the mass killing of Iraqis by the sanctions on Iraq which killed one million Iraqis, most of them children, most of them died before they even knew that they were Iraqis, but they died for no other reason other than that they were Iraqis with the misfortune to born at that time. I gave my heart and soul to stop you committing the disaster that you did commit in invading Iraq. And I told the world that your case for the war was a pack of lies.
"I told the world that Iraq, contrary to your claims did not have weapons of mass destruction. I told the world, contrary to your claims, that Iraq had no connection to al-Qaeda. I told the world, contrary to your claims, that Iraq had no connection to the atrocity on 9/11 2001. I told
the world, contrary to your claims, that the Iraqi people would resist a British and American invasion of their country and that the fall of Baghdad would not be the beginning of the end, but merely the end of the beginning.
"Senator, in everything I said about Iraq, I turned out to be right and you turned out to be wrong and 100,000 people paid with their lives; 1600 of them American soldiers sent to their deaths on a pack of lies; 15,000 of them wounded, many of them disabled forever on a pack of lies.
If the world had listened to Kofi Annan, whose dismissal you demanded, if the world had listened to President Chirac whom you want to paint as some kind of corrupt traitor, if the world had listened to me and the anti-war movement in Britain, we would not be in the disaster that we are in today. Senator, this is the mother of all smokescreens. You are trying to divert attention from the crimes that you supported, from the theft of billions of dollars of Iraq's wealth.
"Have a look at the real Oil-for-Food scandal. Have a look at the 14 months you were in charge of Baghdad, the first 14 months when $8.8 billion of Iraq's wealth went missing on your watch. Have a look at Haliburton and other American corporations that stole not only Iraq's money, but the money of the American taxpayer.
"Have a look at the oil that you didn't even meter, that you were shipping out of the country and selling, the proceeds of which went who knows where? Have a look at the $800 million you gave to American military commanders to hand out around the country without even counting it or weighing it.
"Have a look at the real scandal breaking in the newspapers today, revealed in the earlier testimony in this committee. That the biggest sanctions busters were not me or Russian politicians or French politicians. The real sanctions busters were your own companies with the connivance of your own Government."

IAHF List:
I don't care what your political affiliation is, if you believe in FREEDOM, you MUST believe in maintaining checks and balances in our government, and it shouldn't be too hard to see that an effort is in the works to literally HIJACK America, to DESTROY America, and to FORCE us into a global totalitarian state.
Currently, the collectivist swine in the Bush administration who are trying to strip us of our individual rights as they seek to shove CAFTA and FTAA down our throats are trying to block the use of a time honored American tradition: The FILIBUSTER, which many feel should be allowed as a way of protesting their efforts to stack the Supreme Court with swine, who among other things, favor such Orwellian moves as the National ID card, and other police state tactics intended to DESTROY America.
I encourage each and every one of you, regardless of political affiliation or lack thereof, to go here
http://www.moveonpac.org/nuclear/?id=5554-1507801-7GnqUcjziWVaX.WO7ZKljg&t=3
And add YOUR COMMENTS to the very simple petition intended to defend the FILIBUSTER.
Here are the comments I just added, but I encourage YOU to add your OWN, and below my comments, I will explain how this situation ties in with the CODEX/ CAFTA/FTAA issue, because you DO want to preserve your access to dietary supplements, don't you?
HERES WHAT I SAID ON THEIR FORM WHICH COULD BE READ DURING A FILIBUSTER:
As the President of International Advocates for Health Freedom, I speak on behalf of millions of American vitamin consumers, health food store owners, alternative practitioners, and innovative dietary supplement manufacturers. We are a decentralized, purely grass roots movement, and right now, we're SWINGIN' MAD!!!
We LIKE our system of checks and balances, and we'll be DAMNED if we're going to tolerate any move to eliminate the FILIBUSTER in conjunction with the selection of black robed GOONS who can be installed on us til the day they shuffle off this IMMORTAL COIL on the Supreme Court.
We SEE the moves the illustrious MORON in the Presidency is attempting to make to DESTROY America and to shove CAFTA/FTAA down our throats to create a carbon copy of the EU Dictatorship in our hemisphere, and we're havin' NONE of it, ESPECIALLY because we value the idea of having strong immune systems and we're AWARE that a shift into the FTAA would harmonize our dietary supplement laws to Codex standards, and that the world's ruling elite intend to do this for population control reasons.
Yeah, theres 6.5 Billion of us now astride "Spaceship Earth", and we realize that most demographers are predicting a population increase to around 15 Billion by mid century. We realize the Eugenics crowd controlling the Republican Party are ALSO controlling the Democrats, and we reject and distrust BOTH parties realizing that their strings are being pulled heavily by your shadow government handlers who are jerking the strings of politicians world wide right now.
We SEE all of this, and realize that politicians prefer UNARMED PEASANTS so you're trying to strip us of our arms and force America into third world status while the rich get richer, and the middle class is destroyed, but we're not HAVIN ANY of this.
We realize you just shoved the National ID card down our throats, but we'll figure ways to circumvent it when it comes, and you need to know that if this matter of whether or not to allow a FILIBUSTER comes down to a TIE in the Senate, and if Cheney the Pedophile casts the deciding vote on the side of TYRANNY, at least ONE good thing would come of it: the Democrats would snarl up all remaining business in the Senate between now and the August recess insuring the DEATH of CAFTA, at least THIS time around, and THAT would allow vitamin consumers to pound the HELL out of the HOUSE on this issue.
You see, we aren't as dumb as you all THINK we are. We SEE the SPS language in Codex, and we REALIZE the same identical language is in NAFTA, CAFTA, and FTAA.
We REALIZE that if you smarmy buggers should ever succeed in foisting CAFTA off on us, that it would be the slippery slope to OBLIVION for America and for the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 as ALL of our laws would be HARM-onized to international standards, just as is happening inside the European Union Dictatorship right now.
But haven't you FORGOTTEN something?
We're still ARMED here. Hell, I'm carrying two of 'em right NOW. Currently, the fingers attached to both hands at the ends of these 2 ARMS of mine are busy typing on a computer keyboard, and the PEN is mightier than the sword.
Yep, I'm armed, and I'm DANGEROUS!
In a second, I'm gonna click my mouse and send this thing out to thousands of pissed off vitamin consumers who've had about ENOUGH of your arrogrance, and I'm instructing them to mass forward it, and to dump DONATIONS into IAHF's coffers so we can send a team of Legislative Advocates to the District of Criminals within the next couple weeks the BETTER to communicate FACE TO FACE, because you're up on that hill to serve US, GOT IT?
GOOD!!!

IAHF is assembling a lobbying team right now to go to Capital Hill to educate members of congress on the Codex/ CAFTA/ FTAA issues. We'll be handing out copies of The Connection Magazine with my article about Codex/CAFTA/FTAA and we'll be driving a STAKE through the heart of CAFTA which you'll be glad to know is in political trouble and we intend to blow it sky high using the vitamin freedom lever as our main weapon.
Congressmen Ron Paul, Peter De Fazio, and Dennis Kucinich are 3 of the many members of congress who are on our side, and we're going to have a LOT MORE by the time we're done.

IAHF is in your corner folks. We have an ally in Maryland just outside of DC who is prepared to let a bunch of us crash on the floor in his house sleeping on air mattresses and sharing food so we can do a whistlestop lobby on the Codex issue, but we need to bring a couple of key people over from the UK to help us out, and its going to be costly, so PLEASE DIG DEEP- Could use some $100. donations to help bring the lads over from the UK the better to kick ass.

So if you were wondering if we won or lost the debate on judicial filibusters, look no further than the following statement from James Dobson, founder of "Focus on the Family" and a key architect of the right-wing extremist movement:
"This Senate agreement represents a complete bailout and betrayal by a cabal of Republicans and a great victory for united Democrats. The rules that blocked conservative nominees remain in effect, and nothing of significance has changed."
For more evidence, check out the headline from today's Washington Times, a key mouthpiece of the right-wing:
"7 Republicans abandon GOP on filibuster"
I am so pleased that senators from both sides of the aisle have walked the Senate back from the brink and defeated this terrible abuse of power. You can read my full statement about last night's agreement on BarbaraBoxer.com.
Thanks for your continued support in this fight for America's future. I'll keep you posted on the many battles that lie ahead.

MADISON, Wisconsin - May 27 - The Wisconsin Green Party announced today that it will work with citizens across the state to place an advisory referendum on as many local ballots as possible in next spring's election asking voters the question, "Should the United States begin an immediate, phased withdrawal of its troops from Iraq?"
Jeff Peterson, of Luck, will coordinate the various efforts around the state, most of which will involve convincing county boards to give their constituents the opportunity to weigh in on the war. "We intentionally crafted a referendum that is neutral in its language," said Peterson. "We're not trying to put local elected officials on the spot by forcing them to take a stand on the war. We just think that, after two years, it would be the democratic thing to do to allow average citizens to weigh in on the Iraq situation."
Peterson, who was the Green Party's candidate for lieutenant governor in 2004, said he expects the idea of a voter referendum to receive an enthusiastic response not only from local Green Party chapters, but also from the informal network of peace and justice groups that have sprung up around the state in recent years. They will also reach out, he said, to families with loved ones in the military.
Wisconsin law permits statewide referenda of an advisory nature, but only with the legislature's approval. Because that can be difficult, many referenda questions are submitted at the county level. In last April's election, for example, the Wisconsin Counties Association succeeded in getting two questions regarding state funding of court and social service systems on the ballot in almost every county. Both questions passed overwhelmingly.
Cities and villages may also vote to put referenda on their ballots; they are obliged to do so when presented with petitions containing signatures totalling 15% of the vote for governor in the last election.
Wisconsin Green Party Co-Chair Jill Bussiere of Kewaunee thinks people are ready to have a say on the war. "We've had countless vigils and marches and protests," she said, "but too often they go unreported by the media. I think if the majority of those voting next April 4 vote in favor of withdrawing our troops from Iraq, that will send a strong message to our national elected representatives in Washington."
While their proposed referendum may be worded in neutral language, the Green Party is anything but neutral on issues of war and peace. One of what they call their "key values" is nonviolence, and Greens were among the earliest and most outspoken critics of the Bush administration's decision to invade Iraq. And while theirs may have been the minority view two years ago, Bussiere says she thinks people are growing weary of a war that appears as if it has no end.
"There are still some people who think that, to support the troops, you have to support the war, too," she said. "I think the best way to show support for our troops is to make every effort to bring them home as soon as possible."

Here it is. The smoking gun. The memo that has "IMPEACH HIM" written all over it.
The top-level government memo marked "SECRET AND STRICTLY PERSONAL," dated eight months before Bush sent us into Iraq, following a closed meeting with the President, reads, "Military action was now seen as inevitable. Bush wanted to remove Saddam through military action justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy."
Read that again: "The intelligence and facts were being fixed...."
For years, after each damning report on BBC TV, viewers inevitably ask me, "Isn't this grounds for impeachment?" -- vote rigging, a blind eye to terror and the bin Ladens before 9-11, and so on. Evil, stupidity and self-dealing are shameful but not impeachable. What's needed is a "high crime or misdemeanor."
And if this ain't it, nothing is.
The memo, uncovered this week by the Times, goes on to describe an elaborate plan by George Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair to hoodwink the planet into supporting an attack on Iraq knowing full well the evidence for war was a phony.
A conspiracy to commit serial fraud is, under federal law, racketeering. However, the Mob's schemes never cost so many lives.
Here's more. "Bush had made up his mind to take military action. But the case was thin. Saddam was not threatening his neighbors, and his WMD capability was less than that of Libya, North Korea or Iran."
Really? But Mr. Bush told us, "Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised."
A month ago, the Silberman-Robb Commission issued its report on WMD intelligence before the war, dismissing claims that Bush fixed the facts with this snooty, condescending conclusion written directly to the President, "After a thorough review, the Commission found no indication that the Intelligence Community distorted the evidence regarding Iraq's weapons."
We now know the report was a bogus 618 pages of thick whitewash aimed to let Bush off the hook for his murderous mendacity.
Read on: The invasion build-up was then set, says the memo, "beginning 30 days before the US Congressional elections." Mission accomplished.
You should parse the entire memo -- posted on my website -- and see if you can make it through its three pages without losing your lunch.
Now sharp readers may note they didn't see this memo, in fact, printed in the New York Times. It wasn't. Rather, it was splashed across the front pages of the Times of LONDON on Monday.
It has effectively finished the last, sorry remnants of Tony Blair's political career. (While his Labor Party won the elections, Prime Minister Blair is expected, possibly within months, to be shoved overboard in favor of his Chancellor of the Exchequer, a political execution which requires only a vote of the Labour party's members in Parliament.)
But in the US, barely a word. The New York Times covers this hard evidence of Bush's fabrication of a casus belli as some "British" elections story. Apparently, our President's fraud isn't "news fit to print."
My colleagues in the UK press have skewered Blair, digging out more incriminating memos, challenging the official government factoids and fibs. But in the US press nada, bubkes, zilch. Bush fixed the facts and somehow that's a story for "over there."
The Republicans impeached Bill Clinton over his cigar and Monica's affections. And the US media could print nothing else.
Now, we have the stone, cold evidence of bending intelligence to sell us on death by the thousands, and neither a Republican Congress nor what is laughably called US journalism thought it worth a second look.
My friend Daniel Ellsberg once said that what's good about the American people is that you have to lie to them. What's bad about Americans is that it's so easy to do.

The arrogance of undiluted power in the hands of elected officials who are not bound to respect the law is manifesting its deadly consequences every day as Bush's Iraq invasion unravels into non-stop bloodshed and carnage. The human toll is staggering and there is no let up in sight.
New revelations of Bushs fabrications in his campaign to wage illegal war have led to a sharp drop in his approval rating. With each day the disgust of the people is mounting not only with the endless bloodshed in Iraq but with the Administrations trashing of the Constitution.
Bush lied to the people. He lied to Congress. He waged an unprovoked war of aggression based on a neo-conservative fantasy that might makes right. More than 100,000 Iraqis have now died. Nearly 1,000 have been killed in just the last three weeks. The real casualty numbers for U.S. personnel are not really known. Thirty thousand have been evacuated from Iraq due to severe wounds, psychiatric and other illness, while nearly 1,600 have been killed so far.
Wolfowitzs Admission Should Cause Impeachment
A number of recent revelations confirm that the Administration knowingly lied about the war and its causes. From their own mouths we know with certainty that they cooked up an explanation for the war that would most scare people - the facts be damned. Paul Wolfowitz, Rumsfelds key aide, was quoted in Vanity Fair magazine as saying, "For bureaucratic reasons we settled on one issue, weapons of mass destruction, because it was the one reason everyone could agree on." Since the Administration was flooded with angry letters, undoubtedly many from families of U.S. soldiers, following the publication of the Wolfowitz interview, the Pentagon attempted to do damage control, asserting that he was misquoted. But that didn't help much either. The Pentagons own version of the interview has Wolfowitz saying: "The truth is that for reasons that have a lot to do with the U.S. government bureaucracy, we settled on the one issue that everyone could agree on which was weapons of mass destruction as the core reason."
The public now knows, as does every member of Congress, that in April 2002 Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair secretly agreed to wage unprovoked war against Iraq at a meeting at Bushs Crawford ranch in Texas. This fact and other incriminating information about the secret maneuvers to wage unprovoked war are contained in British government documents, obtained by Michael Smith, a defense specialist writing for the Sunday Times of London. They include a memo of the minutes of a meeting July 23, 2002, between Blair and his intelligence and military chiefs; a briefing paper for that meeting, and a Foreign Office legal opinion prepared before an April 2002 summit between Blair and Bush in Texas.
In a letter to Bush earlier this month 89 House Democrats expressed shock over the documents. They asked if the papers were authentic and, if so, whether they proved that the White House had agreed to invade Iraq months before seeking Congress' OK. (Los Angeles Times, May 12, 2005)
"If the disclosure is accurate, it raises troubling new questions regarding the legal justifications for the war as well as the integrity of our own administration," the letter says.
"While the president of the United States was telling the citizens and the Congress that they had no intention to start a war with Iraq, they were working very close with Tony Blair and the British leadership at making this a foregone conclusion," the letter's chief author, Rep. John Conyers Jr. of Michigan, said Wednesday.
The evidence is clear. As Ramsey Clark recently stated: "Impeachment now is the only way we, the American people, can promise ourselves and the world that we will not tolerate crimes against peace and humanity by our government. Knowing what we know, to wait longer is to condone what has been done and risk more."

Sierra Club Response To Bush Speech: America Needs Real Solutions
Statement by Carl Pope, Executive Director, Sierra Club
"In his Rose Garden speech today, President Bush offered up the same polluting trade and energy policies that he has been pushing since the beginning of his administration. Instead of moving America towards a cleaner and safer future, the Bush administration is again failing to offer us real solutions to create jobs, lower prices, and protect the health of our families and communities.
"We should not enter into trade agreements that put our communities at risk by limiting our government's authority to protect public health and the environment. CAFTA threatens the health of our families and communities by allowing foreign corporations the right to challenge environmental and public health protections in secret trade tribunals. The American people want trade that is safe, clean and fair. We can get this by making sure that environmental and public health standards can not be challenged by corporations, and that the environmental provisions in trade agreements are strong and enforceable.
"America deserves an energy policy that puts innovation to work, not a rehashed version of the same energy bill that the Bush administration hatched in back room meetings with energy industry executives five years ago. By investing in real energy solutions, like renewable energy, energy efficiency, and fuel-efficient technology like hybrid cars, we can protect the environment, create new jobs, lower consumer energy bills, and cut America's dangerous dependence on oil. It's time for President Bush to start listening to his own Department of Energy which has stated that the energy bill currently being debated in Congress would do nothing to lower energy prices or solve our other pressing energy problems.
"We have the solutions. We need leaders who will put American families ahead of giant corporations and act now to create a legacy that we will be proud to leave our children.
